Langka Salad – Great food! It is best partnered with daing na isda, a perfect combo meal for lunch! Delicious!


  • 1 small unripe jackfruit/ langka,peeled and cut- I used 400 grams  of frozen unripe jackfruit
  • 2 cups of thick coconut milk- I used 1 can of coconut cream
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 1 inch ginger, chopped
  • 1-2 tbs vinegar
  • Salt and a bit of sugar to taste


  1. Boil langka in water and salt
  2. When tender, remove from fire and drain.
  3. Put langka in a serving bowl.
  4. Combine with the rest of the ingredients
  5. Refrigerate and serve cold
