“Puto Biñan is the most delicious delicacies in all the Puto. It’s ingredient hasn’t change in 60 years and counting. It is the most delicious Puto ever made.”


  • 1 box (200 gms.) White King puto Mix
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup Selecta Butter Fresh Margarine, melted
  • 3 pcs. Eggs.
  • 1/8 tsp. Anis (optional)
  • ¼ cup cheese, grated
  • 1 pc. Egg, hard boiled & chopped for topping


  1. Arrange a large steamer over boiling water.
  2. Line a 9”-square or round pan with wax paper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk the White King Puto Mix and brown sugar. Add water, Selecta Butter
  4. Fresh Margarine and eggs. Continue mixing until well-blended. Add nise (optional).
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and top with cheese.
  6. Place the pan in the steamer.
  7. Cover the top of the steamer with cheesecloth to absorb steam and prevent it from dripping into the puto.
  8. Steam for about 35 minutes or until top springs back lightly when pressed.
  9. Brush top with melted margarine and sprinkle with chopped egg.

Puto Biñan Special


  • 500 gram pack Butterscotch Brownie Mix
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • grated coconut
  • grated cheese
  • salted egg or kesong puti


  1. Prepare a steamer and two 8-inch round baking pans.
  2. In a bowl, combine brownie mix, eggs, oil and water. Beat until smooth.
  3. Pour into pans. Top with grated cheese, sliced salted eggs or kesong puti.
  4. Steam 20 to 30 minutes or until done.
  5. Dish up with grated coconut
