Grilled Pork Belly Barbeque

  • 1 kg pork belly strips/liempo
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbs cooking oil


  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 10 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbs brown sugar


  1. In a small basin, combine all marinade ingredients and marinate pork belly overnight inside the fridge.
  2. Drain the pork belly from the sauce and set aside. Use the leftover marinade mixture and combine ketchup and oil. Mix it well and set aside for basting.
  3. Grill marinated pork belly over hot charcoal for 10 minutes each side or until tender while basting with marinade mixture.
  4. Transfer it to serving plate with sliced cucumber and serve with spicy dipping sauce. Enjoy!
