New PCOO Chief – Martin Andanar Aims to Fix Media Relations with President
Incoming president Duterte has already announced newly appointed Secretary for Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO). Martin Andanar, a news anchor and radio commentator on TV5. His Job will be to manage the different media platforms of Government. These are compose of PTV 4, Philippine Broadcasting Service, Radyo ng Bayan, the Philippine Information Agency, the Philippine News Agency and the National Printing Office.
Mr. Andanar, promised to improve PTV4, bringing back the golden years of the Government Network channel and help build a closer relationship between journalists and the incoming chief executive.
He will also be proposing to broadcast the weekly program in Davao, Gikan sa Masa Para sa Masa” hostedby Duterte to be aired Nationwide.
