Rellenong Alimasag (Stuffed Crab)

INGREDIENTS

  • 6-8 pcs alimasag, crab (cooked , shells removed, flake meat)
  • 2 whole eggs (beat)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 small can tomato
  • 1 potato (cubed)
  • 1/2 cup red and green bell pepper
  • 1 cup cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 whole cheese 35g (cubed)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cook, remove shell, and flake 6-8 crabs and set aside.
  2. Beat well 2 whole eggs, set aside.
  3. Saute garlic and onions in oil.
  4. Add 1 can tomatoes,potato, red and green bell peppers, cabbage. Mix well.
  5. Stir in crab flakes and cheese.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Stuff cleaned crab shells with filling.
  8. Top with bread crumbs and dip in beaten eggs.
  9. Fry topside down in hot oil until golden brown.
  10. Serve with catsup if desired.
