HOW TO MAKE A NO BAKE CAKE POPS (for food business)

INGREDIENTS

  • crumbled cake (flavor depends on you)
  • candy melts or chocolate bar
  • cookie sticks or pop sticks
  • sprinkles to decorate

FROSTING:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3-4 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp table salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons milk

INSTRUCTIONS

Frosting:

  1. Beat butter for a few minutes on medium speed.
  2. Add 3 cups of powdered sugar.
  3. Beat until the sugar has been incorporated with the butter.
  4. Add vanilla extract, salt, and 2 tablespoons of milk and beat for 3 minutes.
  5. Break cake in a large bowl with your hands.
  6. Stir frosting into the crumbled cake.  Mix well with the desired consistency.
  7. Grab a little bit of the dough and roll into balls compacted tightly.
  8. Place balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until the balls are cool and hard.
  10. Use a microwave (30 seconds at time) or a double broiler to melt the candy melts or chocolate bar.
  11. Once melted and cooled to room temperature, stick the cookie or pop stick into each cake pop, and dip the balls until completely coated and smooth.
  12. Coat the tops with a few sprinkles right after you dip the cake pops.
