A valley surrounded by rolling hills and mountain peaks, in between 2 amazing falls of Iglangit and Igtamoni lays a cluster of rice terraces with a combined area of 600 hectares.

Located at the heart of Panay Island in Brgy fullon, San Remegio, the Antique Rice Terraces (ART) has been preserved by Irigaynon Bukidnon, an Indigenous People of antique.

To experience the beauty of this hidden wonders, you have to cross 5 mountains which is around 5 hours trek from Barangay Iglinap Valderama to Brgy General  Fullon.

Upon reaching the Irigaynon Bukidnon village, you’ll be mesmerized on the vast green fields away from the hustle and bustle life in the city. The village is surrounded by three great mountains, Mt. Iglangit, Mt. Igpayas and Mt. Igbangto. This makes the village protected from strong winds, such as amihan or habagat. In addition, they are also surrounded by waterfalls and rivers thus, the water supply is unlimited.

HOW TO GET THERE:

Option 1:

From Manila, you can fly to Ilo- Ilo via Philippine Airlines, Cebupacific and Air Asia. Travel time is around 1hr and 10 minutes. Then from the airport you can take a Van to Molo terminal and another Van or Jeepney to San Jose, Antique. Travel time is approximately two hours

Option 2:

From Manila, you can also fly straight to AKLAN via Philippine Airlines, Cebupacific and Air Asia. From there, take a tricycle to the Kalibo bus terminal and ride a Ceres Bus to Antique.
