Salt and Pepper Chicken Chinese Style

  • 10 oz Chicken tender
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 Cornstarch
  • Chopped green onion or spring onions
  • 1 hot red chili, chopped
  • vegetable cooking oil for frying
  • 1/2 tbs chopped ginger
  • 1/2 tbs garlic
  • sherry cooking wine
  • 5 spice powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • a drop of sesame oil.
  • sesame oil.


  1. Season the chicken, dip the sliced chicken breast to the flour then dio it to the scrambled egg. Fry the sliced chicken until golden brown. Set aside.
  2. Stir fry the chili, spring onion, garlic, ginger. Put back the chicken. Give it a quick toast . Put some cherry cooking wine, five spice, salt and pepper,  the sliced spring onion.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy.
